Our team-based, driven activities promote collaboration and teamwork. The expected outcome is creating happier and better-connected team members. As members complete the STEAM activities, we focus on improving their listening and communication skills. Additionally, our activities develop and enhance mindfulness, patience, and respect for themselves, their teammates, and the coaching staff. After returning to the classroom post-COVID pandemic, we encourage our members to apply the foundational principles learned in our program in both their classroom environment and at home. We emphasize responsibility and accountability for their actions and success.

Our afterschool enrichment activities spark curiosity in math, science, and reading skills. These activities are designed to get students excited about learning, particularly in these subjects. Members are introduced to general STEAM concepts through visual exploration and hands-on experiences. We challenge members to think differently about various approaches to challenges, fostering creative problem-solving.

TFO supports both the child and their family through intentional community partnerships. We provide comprehensive support plans that address various life demands. By investing in relationships with parents, who are key to their child’s success, we maintain constant communication about their child’s academic and social-emotional needs. Our community partners also provide wrap-around services to support the academic, emotional, and physical wellness goals of our members and their families.
